Phil's dad « Thread Started on Dec 23, 2008, 11:44pm »
This week Cathie and I talked and we decided that it might not be a bad thing to have an area to post this kind of thing so all our summer friends can be made aware of the passing of a loved one in the winter months. If you look we have also created an area for the posting of the happy occasion of an addition to your family . Proud parents , grand parents , aunts and uncles can let us know of this happy time in your life. Often we have no real way to let our Cedars family know when these things happen in our lives .
We will also be the first to post on this new thread.
Phil & I spent the last week in his home town of Wallaceburg with his dad and family ,sadly on friday night his dad passed away. To those of you already aware of his passing, we thank you for your kind words, cards and prayers It truly makes us feel better knowing so many people care and love us Many thanks to you all Butch & Phil Our email is jmccooey@cogeco.ca As a foot note I might add at this time Phil and I do not have any reason to be posting on the birth thread in the forum.

Dear Phil and Cathie: Our hearts are with u as we lost our Mom in 2007and know what u are going through. No one knows until it happens to them. My life and Johan's has not been the same since that time but the reason I am writing this is for support for you as just come over and see us this season as we will be there at 194 Rodeo Drive and talking helps sometimes and sharing. love you and do not worry, I am sure ur Dad is up there watching over you. love GEorge and Johan

Hey there, I lost my mother, I can't believe it was 13 years ago now, so I know the pain of losing a parent. You have my heartfelt condolences and best wishes for the future.
